There is an Interim Manager at Sahali Mall
Interim Mall Manager Marg Archibald is covering for Sara Reynolds as Sara goes on maternity leave. Marg has an amazing resume. She is a published author, having written many books about the joys of cycling. She has worked with government, most recently with the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans. She has worked in communications in the airline industry. She has had her own marketing company for over 30 years. And she is a well regarded volunteer. She helped, for example, to market the first ever Kamloops Energy Fair. Welcome to the neighbourhood Marg!
There are Coyotes in the Neighbourhood
A resident of Greenstone was enjoying some rest and relaxation at home when his wife started yelling at him to look out into their backyard. He saw two coyotes, at the back end of the yard, and very unfortunately one of the coyotes had his neighbour's cat in the coyote's mouth. The cat unfortunately did not make it. Please be careful small animals and children. To report predatory wildlife, the BC Conservation Office web site suggests, "The public can contact 1-877-952-7277 (RAPP) to report incidents of human-wildlife conflict or to report a violation of provincial regulations or legislation."
